The serene, calm and radiant saint of spiritual eminence, Shatavadhani Pujya Gurudev Shri Manak Muniji Maharaj, is the founder of Shri Padmavati Shakti Peeth. Born in to an Oswal Jain family of Sujangarh in Rajasthan, India he has been divinely gifted right from his early childhood. From the very beginning, he has been inclined towards spiritualism and has had a desire to understand the abstruse aspects of life. At the young age of 14, under the guidance of renowned Saint Acharya Shri Tulsiji Maharaj of the Terapanth sect of Jainism, he took his vows as a Jain muni. |

The next 12 years were spent in deep study and meditation. A great scholar of Jainism, he is also well versed in Buddhism, the Vedas and other Indian philosophies. His other areas of study are the origins of Jainism, law, history and the science of Yoga. He has a commendable grasp of many ancient Indian languages such as Sanskrit, Pali and Prakrit and is fluent in Hindi, Gujarati, Rajasthani, Punjabi and Bangla, as also English. His knowledge of astrology, palmistry and numerology is vast and deep as is his interest and insight into the study of mantas and bhakti.
Muni Shri is particularly interested in Dhayan Sadhna (intense meditation), in the course of which he has undergone several supernatural experience. Thousands of people, both from Indian and abroad, have been taught the art of meditation by him and as a result have attained peace and inner bliss. he has been particularly blessed by Bhagwan Shri Parshavnath and Mata Shri padmavati Devi, whom he has been worshipping for the last 20 years. Due to blessings of Mata Shri Padmavati Devi he has had many supernatural experiences. By organising Parshava-Padmavati Mahapujan in the US, the UK and Canada, he has succeeded in lighting the lamp of devotion in the hearts of thousands of people. Endowed with wondrous powers of intuition, he is a great Shatavadhani-Shatavadhan is an ancient science which helps a person use concentration, mental person and inner knowledge to enhance memory and perform extraordinary mathematical feats. Muni Shri has demonstrated his Shatavadhan skills in many cities of India, the UK, the US and Canada and left thousands of intellectuals astounded an demonstrated. Later, they sought him out to learn the techniques of deep concentration and memory enhancement. For 28, years after becoming a Jain Muni, Muni Shri has travelled on foot across the length and breadth of India and Nepal. Every year, since 1991, he has undertaken trips to hundreds of cities in the US, the UK and Canada to bring about spiritual awakening and help build the right values. His busy schedule includes addressing conferences, conventions and seminars and delivering religious discourses in universities. In the US, the trust is registered under I.R., hence donors can get tax rebates. In India too, the application for tax exemption has been made. It is likely that the organisation will be granted permission soon. The ashram near Pune For the last two years Muni Shri has getting divine inspiration and direction to found an ashram in an area near Pune in Maharashtra. A completely unknown area, completely unknown people, how would the project take off? But the impossible can become possible if god so desires. So, on February 28, 2002, construction work on the ashram began on a four-acre plot of land near the vast Panshet Lake near Pune. The area, nestling in the Sahyadri hills, is rich in natural beauty, beautiful, clean, lush and far from the madding crowd. Situated 50 kilometres from Pune, the place gives out spiritual vibes. On reaching this beautiful spot, a person experiences divine peace and bliss. Under the holy blessings of divine powers and the guidance of Pujya Gurudev, it is a certainty that the ashram will be a great centre of spiritual learning.
